Rugged, made of cast steel (annealed), these car rerailers are simple to use. Just place them straddling the rail, they need no spikes, clamps or fasteners, and are self-adjusting to a range of rail sections or rail heights. Designed to rest on both front and rear of rail, "butterfly type" rerailers from a friction grip when in use and allow the load to be evenly distributed on the rail, not just on one or two ties.
