Haws SP157A 1/2 x 1/2 in Scald Protection Bleed Valve

Model SP157A is a scald protection bleed valve. Recommended for high ambient temperature locations where extreme heat or hot sun might cause internal water overheating. Flushes water through line when internal water temperature reaches 98 deg F (36.7 deg C) and closes at 95 deg F (35 deg C). Full open temperature is 105 deg F (40.6 deg C). 1/2 in NPT inlet and outlet.
