Types of signs available
Reflective on aluminum: Engineer grade, super engineer grade, high intensity prismatic or diamond grade cubed reflective sheeting permanently bonded to alodined aluminum sign blanks.
Non-reflective on aluminum: A durable non-reflective finish bonded to alodined aluminum sign blanks.
Materials
Aluminum: 5052-H38 alloy treated with Alodine 1200 conversion coating. Aluminum thickness depends on the width of the sign and the applicable federal, state, county or city specification.
Aluminum thickness available: .020, .032, .040, .063, .080, .100 and .125 gauge.
Polyplate-T: Fiberglass reinforced composite formulated specifically for traffic signs.
Reflective sheeting: All reflective signs are made from the highest quality sheeting available.
This catalog contains traffic signs as recommended in the "Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways" and various state sign manuals.
The Department of Transportation has recommended certain signs and sign sizes to be used on highways, roads and streets, in an effort to achieve uniformity in signing throughout the United States. We encourage all those responsible for signing and delineation, in the interest of highway safety, to follow the recommendations set forth in the "Federal Highway Administration" manual on uniform traffic control devices and/or respective state sign manuals.
