Salisbury by Honeywell - Insulated Tools and Insulated Tool Kits

 

Salisbury offers over 2,000 insulated hand tools and insulated hand tool kits. The convenient kits are offered in a variety of sizes and some are organized to help with specific jobs. Salisbury Insulated Tools are used in the Electric Power Industry and in Telecommunication among others. Salisbury's tool kits make meeting OSHA and NFPA 70E standards easy.

Salisbury's Insulated Tools for Electric Tools meet IEC 900 Standard for Insulated Hand Tools. The Linesman Tools also exceed current ASTM F1505-07 Standards for Insulated Hand Tools,  Help Meet OSHA Requirements, and meets NFPA 70E requirements. The Electricians Hand Tools are Tested to 10,000 VAC and Rated for 1,000 VAC Maximum Exposure. 

Insulated Hand Tools are Necessary to Meet OSHA and NFPA 70E Standards. The NFPA 70E standard and OSHA regulations have been established to protect workers from electrical shock and arc flash hazards and to educate workers about the protection needed from these dangers. The NFPA 70E standard and OSHA regulations MUST be met.

To fully comply with OSHA 1910.333 (c)(2) and NFPA 70E 2009, insulated hand tools must be used. A complete insulated tool program should be in place to meet these standards.
