Salisbury Type I hard hats are available with wide brims or front brims. All Salisbury safety hats are made from dielectric materials that meet ANSI and CSA Class E specifications. HDPE (high density polyethylene) provides the extra strength needed to meet stringent impact and penetration standards while maintaining a comfortable weight. Type I hard hats feature four-point nylon web suspension with forehead comfort band, crown pad and chin strap. The wide brim Type I is also available with six-point suspension when ordered with ratchet adjustment. Three adjustment options are available. The Ratchet adjustment is available on both brim styles. A Quickfit option is available on the Type I front brim, while the Pin Lock option is available on the Type I wide brim. All Salisbury hard hats are adjustable for height. Yellow, orange and white are stocked as standard colors. Salisbury offers a wide range of color and personalization options, including logo imprinting or hot stamping.

Salisbury Type II hard hats include a foam liner that provides extra protection from possible impact from the sides and back as well as on top. Six-point suspension provides extra stability. Meet ANSI and CSA Class E specifications. Constructed of HDPE (high density polyethylene) to provide the strength needed to meet stringent impact and penetration standards at a comfortable weight. Accessory slots accommodate face and hearing protection. Setting industry standards, Salisbury is the first to offer this valuable feature in our wide-brim version, ideal for environments where extra protection from UV, rain, and falling debris is needed. Type II hard hats feature ratchet adjustment which allows a firm, comfortable fit with an easy twist of a knob. Type II hard hats feature two-level height adjustment and self-centering six-point nylon web suspension, with forehead comfort band, crown pad and chin strap. Yellow, orange and white are standard colors. Salisbury offers a wide range of color and personalization options, including logo imprinting or hot stamping.

Simplicity and safety. Salisbury’s Boa Pole Choking System allows linemen to work in a comfortable position without danger of a fall. The Boa has two adjustable interconnecting straps, made of 6-ply rubberized nylon, that wrap around the pole and serve as both an anchorage connector and connecting link to the body belt and/or harness. The Boa “chokes” the pole when the adjustment paddles are released and the worker leans back into the system. Salisbury’s Body Belts are extra lightweight yet very durable. The belt is made of 1.75” (45mm) nylon and features floating curved lateral “D” rings. The belt can be integrated into a basic harness. The back pad provides good lumbar support. The tool loops are made of durable belting material that won’t rot or mildew. Adjustable Safety Straps are available in two lengths, 6’ (1.8m) and 7’(2.1m), and two materials. Choose nylon webbing with friction length adjustment buckle or the deluxe 6-ply neoprene nylon, with red inner layer to indicate wear, with tongue / buckle length adjuster.

Compound Pots are made of hard rubber that is nonconductive and breakage resistant. The applicator brush and compound are held in one unit that can be hung from aerial devices or fit into cross arm holes. Offered in single and double compartment styles. Cable Bandages provide temporary insulation for bare conductors and splices. A single thickness of the orange SALCOR® Bandage can withstand 15kV on puncture test. The Black Neoprene bandage provides fast and complete temporary cover for cable splicers. Insulating Saddles are ideal for temporary or emergency line work such as stringing light conductors over short spans. The large 3” (76mm) upper saddle opening will hold bare or insulated conductors in either an upright or inverted position. Molded of hard rubber and furnished with two nylon holding pins supplied with steel loops for easy hot-stick application. A 12” (305mm) orange plastic shoe is affixed to the crossarm opening to help prevent flashover during inclement weather. Designed to fit crossarms with dimensions up to 3.75” x 5” (95mm x 127 mm). Salisbury’s FC325 Clamp Flag allows workers and work areas to be highly visible. This safety device includes a 12” x 14” red flag attached to a hardwood string clamp with universal jaw to grip most objects up to 3” in size. “DANGER” is screened on both sides of the flag.

BELT HOOK/BREAK-AWAY is nonconductive yellow nylon hand-line belt hook that will bend or break if suddenly pulled. The TD TAGGING DEVICE, made from molded orange SALCOR®, is used to tag opened disconnect switches. It allows “Hold” cards to be placed on the circuit and fits over the heads of 1-1/4’ (32 mm) and 1-1/2’ (38 mm) switch sticks. METER TERMINAL COVER is used to avoid accidental contact with energized parts on 100 and 200 Amp single phase meter sockets. Made of orange SALCOR corona-resistant material. Spade Covers are easily installed to provide temporary insulation when working in padmount transformers and other electrical apparatus. Or, when securely held in place, they may be left on spades or connectors indefinitely for front end protection. The larger SC-5 is also used to cover primary elbows as well as the larger and longer multiple lead primary and secondary fittings and lugs used in underground enclosures and vaults. Molded from flexible orange SALCOR, they have excellent aging and weathering characteristics. The opening at the top end of the slot holds the cover on to the terminal. One inch wide lips extending along the slot provide additional protection over the connection.
