Powerheart AED G3 Plus - Automatic & Semi-Automatic External Defibrillator
Powerheart AED G3 Plus Defibrillator

Your AED is ready , are you?
When a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) strikes, the first few minutes are critical to survival. In the chaos and confusion surrounding the event, it can be
challenging for the average rescuer, with only minimal training in CPR and AED use, to remember and follow the correct procedures. It’s during these
critical minutes that the Powerheart AED G3 Plus becomes priceless.
We’re right here, taking you through each life-saving step
A person is down and the clock is ticking. Fortunately, you’ve got the G3 Plus featuring our exclusive Rescue Coach™ intuitive voice prompts to put you in control from the moment you open the case. The clear yet extensive prompts take you step-by-step through the rescue process, removing any guesswork. Prompts are spoken in a bold, authoritative voice to help you stay calm and focused in a potentially loud rescue environment and are also displayed on a text screen for users who may be hearing impaired. The built-in metronome then guides you in performing CPR compressions and rescue breaths at the proper pace.

Rescue Coach voice prompts put you in control.
Extensive prompts coach you through AED use...
• Stay calm. Follow these voice instructions.
• Make sure 911 is called now.
• Begin by exposing patient’s bare chest and torso. Remove or cut clothing if needed.
• When patient’s chest and torso are exposed, remove square foil package from lid of AED.
• Tear open foil package across dotted line and remove pads.
• Next, separate one of the white pads completely from blue plastic liner. Begin peeling from the tabbed corner.
• Firmly place the pad without the liner on the patient exactly as illustrated. This pad can be placed on either of the two locations shown.
• Next, peel the blue plastic liner off of the second white pad.
• Firmly place the second pad on the opposite location exactly as illustrated.
• Do not touch patient, analyzing heart rhythm. Please wait.
• Preparing shock. Move away from the patient.
• Shock will be delivered in 3, 2, 1 – shock delivered.
• It is now safe to touch the patient.
... And through CPR
• When instructed, give patient 30 rapid compressions, then give two breaths.
• Place heel of one hand on center of chest between nipples.
• Place heel of other hand directly on top of first hand.
• Lean over patient with elbows straight.
• Press the patient’s chest down rapidly – 1/3rd depth of chest – then release.
• Start CPR

Rely on the life-saving features of the G3 Plus:
• AHA/ERC 2005 Guidelines consistent
• Extensive Rescue Coach™ intuitive voice prompts
• Metronome for proper CPR compression and rescue breath pacing
• Fully automatic operation -- delivers life saving therapy without pushing a shock button
• Patented Rescue Ready® daily automated self-testing of all critical components: battery, pads and electronic systems
• Incorporates the same full, escalating STAR biphasic waveform defibrillation technology and analysis software as our professional responder devices
• 7-year AED warranty
• 4-year full replacement battery warranty

Automated care for patients means more confidence for you.
The G3 Plus is available with fully automatic operation, so you don’t have to push a shock button to initiate life-saving therapy on adults or children. When it’s time to administer CPR, this new device guides you through steps of CPR, including a metronome for proper timing of chest compressions and rescue breaths. Together they help ensure the patient receives the proper care at the proper time, helping to minimize your own stress as you take charge of the event.
Built to save lives. Built to last.
Hopefully you will never need to use your Powerheart AED G3 Plus. But if you do, rest assured it will be ready when you need it. Our patented Rescue Ready technology tests all critical components such as battery, pads and electronic systems daily, weekly and monthly to make sure they are working properly. Cardiac Science sets the standard in AED reliability and is backed by it’s industry leading seven-year device and four-year battery warranties.
