**Hard Hat Winter Liner Features**

Warming Pack Pockets HOT RODS liners have two built-in pockets, proximate to the wearer's ears, which hold HOT RODS regular size warming packs. The warming packs will stay warm for 7 to 11 hours, depending upon how much oxygen they are exposed to, and will keep the wearer's ears toasty warm. Warming packs are sold separately Elastic for Snug Fit HOT RODS winter liners are manufactured with a short elastic strip in the forhead area to keep the liner snug against the face. Other winter liners do not have this feature. As a result, other liners have huge gaps which let the cold blow right in. DuPont Thermotex Ear Barrier Most models have warming pack pockets lined with DuPont's Thermotex, a light weight microporous nonwoven material. This material provides extraordinary protection against wind, water and cold. Thermotex offers excellent wind blocking. The stronger and colder the wind, the greater the benefits when compared to many other thermo-insulation materials Reflective Strip HOT RODS winter liners (except knitted tubes) have a unique strip of reflective film above the back of the neck. For work in low light or dark hours, this super bright strip of silver reflective film provides just a little bit of extra safety for those who must work near traffic.

All day, air activated, time release, disposable hand, toe and large pocket warming packs. There's nothing like the great outdoors in winter, but when you're cold, being outdoors isn't great at all. Hot Rods warming packs help you stay warm so you can stay, play and work outside while achieving peak performance in total comfort. Hot Rods warming packs literally run on oxygen. Each soft, lightweight pouch contains a mixture of iron powder, water, vermiculite, cellulose, activated carbon and salt. Once the outer package is opened, an oxidation process takes place which causes a safe, natural reaction to release heat. Hot Rods warming packs utilize the same technology as used by the National Ski Patrol, explorers of the Arctic and Antarctica and military bases around the world. Over one billion warming packs are used each year in Japan alone.
