North Powder Free Natural Rubber and Antistatic Nitrile Finger Cots
North 100 series powder free finger cots undergo multiple washings to ensure they are free of powders and other contaminants remaining from the manufacturing process. Thin film at the tips give excellent tactility. High tensile strength minimizes tearing. Designed to fit finger taper, eliminating air space caused by excess bulk at the finer tips. The powder free latex cots also come in 9 and 16 mil industrial weights for heavy duty applications. North also offers powder free nitrile cots, which are antistatic with a surface resistivity of 1011 ohms per square.
Features Benefits
Multiple washed cots Powder free. Low particle count. Less potential for contamination of item being handled
Very low extractables Less contamination from reactive ions
Powder free Cots may be taken into cleanroom with confidence that contamination stays outside
3 mil cots Excellent tactility
Multiple sizes Added comfort increases user acceptability, reduces fatigue
Uniform thickness Assures equal sensitivity in all critical areas. Provides balanced protection to all areas covered

North Static Dissipative Cleanroom Finger Cots
These cots are inherently static dissipative for 100% effectiveness. North's natural rubber latex static dissipative finger cots can dramatically reduce losses from static discharge and help solve a problem which can affect your bottom line. The static dissipative properties of these cots will not diminish over time or degenerate with wear. They do not depend on humidity or ingredient migration for their conductive properties. North static dissipative cots are packaged in conductive bags so they can be taken into the work area. Cots meet ASTM D 3772 requirements for consistent quality.
Features Benefits
Inherently static dissipative Will not rub or wash off and do not depend on humidity or any ingredient to migrate to the surface. Static dissipative properties will not weaken with age. Consistent performance
Very rapid static decay Does not permit build up of destructive static energy. 5000 to 0 volts in 0.01 second. Maximum time allowed by MIL-B-81705B is 2.0 seconds
2 X 106 ohms per square average surface resistivity Allows rapid bleed off of any charge. Reference ASTM D 257
Low static build up Virtually no static build up on the hand of a grounded person
Meets requirements of ASTM D 3772 for physical properties Consistent high quality
Packaging complies with MIL-P-82646A Conductive bag can be taken into the immediate work area
Does not smudge Nothing extracts from the cot during use that could contaminate the item being handled
Black color Improved monitoring of critical EDSD production areas
Multiple washings Powder free. Very low particle count. Less potential for contamination of item being handled
Made in USA Highest quality. A consistenly reliable supply

North Mechanically Cleaned and Powdered Finger Cots
North 200 and 300 series finger cots feature the thinnest gauge "tissue cot" for extremely high sensitivity. Their tapered design aids in giving a more comfortable fit. For heavier, abrasive operations where tissue weight cots are too thin, there are also two weights of industrial cots. All cots are manufactured under FDA standards and meet Federal Specification ZZ-F-001299 and ASTM D 3772. Catalog series 200 is considered to be mechanically clean. Catalog series 300 is powdered. North finger cots are designed for use in handling delicate components and subminature parts. They minimize the corrosive effects of perspiration, body oils and salts, and hand creams or soap residue. Applications for North 200 and 300 series finger cots include: food industry, battery manufacturing, photo processing, watch manufacturing, surgical and medcal industry, laboratory work, electrical work and non particle sensitive electronics.
Features Benefits
Uniform thickness No heavy build up of rubber in tip area. Affords maximum sensitivity in critical areas of the cot
Tapered tip More comfort, fits fingers better
Made in USA Highest quality, consistent supply
Available in heavyweight standard sizes Longer wear, better durability than tissue cots
All white cots available in four standard sizes Better worker fit and comfort, maximizes sensitivity
All cots manufactured under FDA standards Assures consistent high quality
