North by Honeywell offers two Powered Air-Purifying systems: one for full facepieces, and one for loose fitting covers and hoods. Both blower battery assemblies are belt mounted and are NIOSH approved with a range of cartridges and filters for protection from many hazardous environments. Both featured-packed North systems offer the power and versatility to keep workers comfortable during long, hot jobs. Because blower facilitates flow of air through filters or cartridges, workers are not fighting breathing resistance - yielding less worker fatigue.

NORTH HOODS AND OSHA'S APF
OSHA lists two Assigned Protection Factors for hoods. Hoods have an APF of 25, unless the manufacturer can demonstrate a fit factor that supports an APF of 1,000. North by Honeywell has performed the required tests on all our full hoods.
