North's Decelerator is a lightweight energy absorbing lanyard designed to reduce the impact load experienced during a fall. The Decelerator is built with safety and quality in mind with features that can help you work more efficiently and cost effectively.
North's Decelerator meets or exceeds all industry standards for energy absorbing lanyards including those set by ANSI, OSHA and GSA. They are engineered to limit arresting forces to 9001bs. (4kN) or less. They are made with a tough nylon or polyester tube jacket that functions as the back-up lanyard to a shock absorbing inner core material.
