An emergency descent for evacuation or rescue purposes requires a device you can depend on. You rely on it to work smoothly, safety and without the need of specialized skills to get you to a safe place out of harm's way. North has severval options to choose from, providing a safe, controlled descent speed for use of single or multiple descents. All operate at approximately 2 metres per second and are suitable for use over land and water. All are certified for use as automatic descenders.

Whether on pole top or at the top of a transmission tower, the FP8120 lever-type descender offers a lightweight altemative for quick descent and evacuation using rope. It is equipped with an auto-stop device should the user let go of the brake handle. Rope required is supplied with one swaged termination for quick attachment to anchorage connector.
