Self-retracting lifelines (SRL) are one of the most versatile products for fall arrest situations. Whether made with webbing, like the retractable web lanyard, wire rope or synthetic rope, the lanyard retracts into the housing to keep it out of the way. They improve comfort, reduce weight and increase user mobility at or on the way to the work site. They are available in a variety of models and lengths to suit every job-site application. All the SRL's listed on the following pages are engineered to meet or exceed applicable ANSI, OSHA and GSA requirements.

Retractable web lanyards are engineered to provide maximum protection in places where lanyards might get in the way. They will "lock up" in approximately 9" (230mm) thereby limiting the overall exposure to a fall by a considerable margin over a regular lanyard. They are available in various configurations to suit a variety of applications. All are equipped with 2" (SOmm) webbing, a tough vinyl cover and mounting carabiner.

• This lightweight unit (weighing 2.4lbs (l.lkg) is a favorite of workers using a telescopic pole or a first man up system
• One of the few CSA Type I units on the market that is serviceable, reducing cost of ownership

At 20 feet (6m) in length, it provides a lightweight alternative to SRL's equipped with a heavy metallic housings or internal mechanisms.
