The Ty-Rite Lanyard is the first lanyard from North Safety Products which is designed to be tied back onto itself. For years the industry has been preaching that tying back your lanyard was dangerous and could cause injury. The reason that this was an unsafe practice is that traditional snap hooks were not designed to withstand the fall forces on the gate of the snap hook. The "New" Ty-Rite Lanyard from North Safety Products is designed with the industries first Quad locking Carabiner rated for tie-back use. The Quad locking feature is designed to ensure that under any situation the Ty-Rite lanyard snap hook would remain safe and closed at any angle. The Ty-Rite lanyard has heavy duty sling webbing with spectra edges for extended wear properties. For added peace of mind, we have designed the webbing with built-in wear indicators to ensure the user can identify when the lanyard must be removed from service.
