The North Soft Pak is an energy absorbing component which can be used in a variety of configurations to make a "shock absorbing" lanyard to suit your needs. The controlled tearing action of the Soft Pak web has been proven again and again over years of service to limit the energy of a fall to less than 9001bs. (4kn). Engineered and tested for reliability, the Soft Pak provides peace of mind when selecting a lanyard made of rope, webbing or cable for fall arrest. Soft Pak is engineered and certified to meet or exceed the performance criteria set by ANSI, OSHA and GSA for energy absorbers.
