The ArcSafe harness is SEI-certified to the requirements of the ASTM F887-05 standard for arc flash protection up to 40 cal/cm2

Applications:
• Work at heights near energized electrical sources includes power transmission tower climbing, RF and telecommunication tower climbing, installation and repair of roof-mounted electrical equipment, and in-plant maintenance and repair of electrical machinery.
• Work in confined spaces that might call for MSA’s ArcSafe Harness includes maintenance within electrical vaults, work performed in electrical runs or cargo holds of ocean-going ships, work in trenches with exposed electrical cables, and maintenance and repair inside pressure vessels.

ArcSafe™ Shock-Absorbing Lanyard

The ArcSafe shock-absorbing lanyard is SEI-certified to the requirements of the ASTM F887-05 standard for electrical arc flash protection up to 40 cal/cm2.
• Limits fall arrest forces to 900 pounds or less
• Constructed of nylon webbing
• Includes sewn loop on shock-absorber end, and LS snaphook on lanyard leg
• Incorporates a protective cover over the shock-absorber
• Adjustable in length
