MiniCO, MiniH2S, MiniOX Responder Alarms
MiniCO Responder Alarm
Compact and lightweight, the MiniCO Responder Alarm provides fast, accurate sampling of CO concentrations from 0 to 999 parts per million. Ideal for firefighters, gas utility emergency crews, and workers in a steel mill, the MiniCO Responder identifies hazardous situations immediately. When lower levels of CO are detected, the MiniCO Responder Alarm gives a slow intermittent beep or "low alarm". When higher levels of CO are detected, the unit sounds a "high alarm", emitting fast shrill beeps.

MiniH2S Responder Alarm
In pulp and paper mills, water and waste treatement facilities, and oil refining or exploration sites, the presence of H2S can be hazardous to safe working conditions. The MiniH2S Responder Alarm helps workers in these facilities assess their enviroment.
Like the MiniCO Responder Alarm, audible and visible warnings or alarms are activated when gas concentrations exceed two preset levels. A "Warning" (W) or low alarm is activated when a low concentration of hydrogen sulfide is detected. A distinctive pulsing alarm is activated when a higher concentration is detected. This "High Alarm" (A) can be cleared only when the concentration drops below the alarm set point. The measuring range is 0 - 500 ppm H2S.

MiniOX and MiniOX Remote Responder Alarms
For detecting low levels of oxygen in confined spaces or in any location suspected of oxygen deficiency or enrichment, the MiniOX Responder Alarm and the MiniOX Remote Responder Alarm are the units for immediate assessment. A peak (lowest reading) of the total percentage of oxygen detected is displayed at the push of a button. An intermittent beep warns when oxygen enrichment is detected. However, when the MiniOX Responder Alarm detect insufficient oxygen levels, a high rate alarm is activated and locks out any attempt to reset the unit until it is removed to an environment where oxygen levels exceeds the warning level. The MiniOX Responder Alarm has an internal sensor; The MiniOX Remote Responder Alarm has an external sensor attached to a 10 foot cable. The measurement range is 0 - 100% oxygen.

MiniCl2 and MiniCl02 Responder Alarms
The MiniCl2 and MiniClO2 Responder Alarms offer convenient low-level chlorine and chlorine dioxide monitoring, respectively. Both alarms are perfect for use in many industries, including chemical, food & beverage, Hazmat, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, semiconductor and water / wastewater treatment. The MiniCl2 responder alarm has a 0 - 15 ppm measuring range; the MiniClO2 responder alarm measuring range is 0 - 6 ppm. With only 3 buttons, both the MiniCl2 and MiniClO2 responder alarms are very easy to use. Weighing less than 8 ounces and running on a commercially available nine-volt battery, they each offer the user the ability to determine peak readings with the press of a button. For user safety, the alarms have a specially designed, time-delay power button that must be held down for 5 seconds to turn the power off. This feature helps prevent accidental shutoff during use. Both alarms feature a lifetime warranty on most components.

MiniCO Responder Kit
The MiniCO Responder Kit is designed specifically for firefighters or utility service personnel who must respond quickly to CO calls. The kit contains a MiniCO Responder Alarm with a protective jacket and neck strap, a Squirt® Gas Bump Tester or RP size calibration gas cylinder, and 10 MiniCO Carbon Monoxide detector tube cards, all packaged for convenience in a durable, compact carrying case. The Squirt® Gas Bump Tester provides a quick and certain means of calibrating the MiniCO Responder in the field. The Detector Tube Cards offer homeowners an easy and affordable means of checking their exposure to CO levels after the service person or firefighter has left the home.

Detector Tube Pumps

Toximeter II Automatic Detector Tube Pump

Gas-Tester II H Detector Tube Pump
The Toximeter II Automatic Detector Tube Pump makes the sampling process easier, allowing the user to preset the number of pump strokes (from 1 to 250 pump strokes). Intrinsically safe, the automatic pump works with all MSA detector tubes. It can also be used as a sampling pump. The Gas-Tester II H Pump is set for action by compressing the bellows. A pump stroke is started by pressing the release button. When the sample (100 ml) is drawn through the tube, the end-of-stroke indicator changes color. An accurate measurement is obtained because the sample draw procedure itself is controlled only by the specifications of the pump and the flow resistance of the detector tube. MSA's Kwik-Draw and Kwik-Draw Deluxe Pumps (not shown) can be used with an assortement of MSA's detector tubes to spot-test atmospheres for a wide variety of toxic substances. They are designed for one hand operation and consistent delivery of a sample draw volume of 100 ml.
