Duo-Flo Respirators
MSA offers Duo-Flo Respirators in both Constant Flow and Pressure Demand versions. Constant Flow respirators are normally used where an ample air supply is available, such as that provided by an air compressor. Pressure-Demand respirators are generally used where only compressed air cylinders are available. Duo-Flo Respirators feature air purifying canisters to protect against a wide variety of contaminants.

Duo-Flo Respirators are popular in the pharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical and nuclear industries. The unique D / DP switchable exhalation valve, standard on Pressure Demand respirators, also makes these units especially well suited for abatement work. This MSA respirator should not be used in atmospheres containing less than 19.5% oxygen.

NIOSH / MSHA approved and certified.

Abrasi-Blast Supplied Air Respirator
The Abrasi-Blast Respirator provides respiratory and upper body protection to workers in shipbuilding, the construction industry, utilities and other applications where blasting with abrasives is performed

A complete Abrasi-Blast Respirator is made up of a hood, facepiece with lens housing, breathing tube, cover lens cartridge assembly, flow control device, approved air supply hose and support belt.

During blasting operations, the lens of the Abrasi-Blast Respirator is protected by 2 to 4 flat glass cover lenses mounted in a special foam material. Each cover lens is removed by integral pull tabs when it become so abraded that vision is reduced. Ther is no need to stop and change lenses, as is necessary with most conventional blasting hoods. NIOSH and MSHA approved.

Versa-Hood™ Air Supplied Hood
This hood can be used anywhere a Type C air supplied hood is required. It is available in Tyvek material in both shoulder length and waist length styles. Either style can be equipped for use with a plant air source or MSA's CompressAire Personal Air Compressor. When head protection is needed, a special three-point Velcro system secures the hood to an MSA V-Gard Cap. The hood suspension (basic or ratchet versions) are easily adjustable and stable, minimizing the need for a chin strap. The hood is designed to be disposable, thus eliminating the need for cleaning, and a twin lens system extends the life of the hood. An air distribution system keeps the lens fog free. NIOSH / MSHA certified.

Synergy® Bubble Hood Respirator
The Synergy Bubble Hood is a low cost, lightweight Type C supplied air respirator designed to provide respiratory protection in toxic atmospheres not immediately dangerous to life and health (non-IDLH). Designed for convenience and cost efficiency, the Synergy Bubble Hood differs from many comparable devices in that it can be used with a common air supply hose that is compatible with other MSA supplied air respirators.

Whether users require a pressure-demand respirator, a dual purpose self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), a constant flow air line respirator, or the Synergy Bubble Hood respirator, one air supply hose is suitable for all applications.

The optional Communications Port, positioned on the lower portion of the hood, allows integration with two way radio headsets. The communications port consists of a PVC "sleeve" that allows connection of radio cables to the headset. Once a cable is installed, the port can be sealed off from outside contamination using tape.

Synergy® Welder's Hood Respirator
Synergy Welder's Hood Respirators are low cost, lightweight Type C supplied air devices designed to provide respiratory and upper body protection in toxic atmospheres not immediately dangerous to life and health (non-IDLH). The hoods are loose fitting, allowing wearers to move freely and work in comfort.

Designed for convenience and cost efficiency, Synergy Welder's Hood Respirators differ from many comparable devices in that they can be used with a common air supply hose that is compatible with other MSA supplied air respirators.

Welding plates do not provide unlimited face and eye protection. Suitable impact resistant primary eye protection, as required by ANSI Z87.1-1989 must be worn at all times when using any welding shield. Pitted and scratched facepiece reduce most vision and impact protection, and must be replaced immediately. Clean only with mild soap and lukewarm water. Do not use solvents!!!
