Dyna-Lock® SRL's
The MSA Oyna-Lock Self-Retracting Lanyards (SRL) are fast-acting fall arresters that limit free-fall distance, deceleration distance, and fall arrest forces while allowing user freedom of movement. The Oyna-Lock SRL is ideal for climbing applications where vertical mobility is needed.
The Dyna-Lock SRL has a 4.5-feet-per-second locking speed. A built-in shock absorber limits fall arrest forces to under 900 lbf. Three continuously moving independent braking mechanisms prevent freezing in icy or corrosive conditions. Available with 3/16-inch galvanized or stainless steel wire rope, or 1-inch wide nylon webbing. A forged steel, zinc-plated, self-locking swivel snap hook is present on each unit with a load indicator that activates and alerts the user when the Dyna-Lock SRL has been impact loaded. The Roughneck model incorporates a black corrosion-resistant coating designed for severe environmental conditions. Meets ANSI Z359.1-1992 (R1999), ANSI A10.32, and applicable OSHA standards. Models with CSA part numbers are CSA certified.
NOTE: This "no re-certification" policy does not mean that routine inspections do not need to be performed on MSA mechanical units. All users of MSA mechanical products are still required to perform a pre-use inspection and a formal inspection of each mechanical unit in accordance with the user instructions. and as outlined in OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and CSA standards. CSA standards require an annual re-certification for mechanical products two years from date of manufacture.

Folding Davit and Base
The Folding Davit and Base is a portable and economical anchorage connector used where a tripod will not work. Available with a zinc-plated alloy-steel Davit Arm and your choice of zinc-plated carbon steel or stainless steel Davit Base. This lightweight device provides a 24-inch reach and 77-inches of head clearance. It pivots 360-degrees and can readily maneuver person­nel and materials between spaces below the deck where it is mounted. The Folding Davit may be carried from base to base and installed in minutes. Meets or exceeds ANSI Z359.1, ANSI A10.32, and applicable OSHA requirements. Mounting brackets and pulleys sold separately.

The Column Davit and Base are used for more permanent conditions where a tripod will not work.
