Unlike conventional household vacuums which exhaust unseen contaminants back into the air and may actually cause an allergic reaction, the Allergy Vacuum traps harmful allergens with progressively finer stages of filtration. Its four-stage filtration system includes: a disposable paper bag, a washable embossed polyester filter bag, a disposable impact filter and a H.E.P.A. type (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter that is 99% efficient at 0.3 microns. As an added precaution, if the H.E.P.A. filter is removed, the vacuum will not operate. This patented safety interlock system assures user safety and prevents allergens from being distributed back into the air.

Surface contamination control is a challenging process within any cleanroom. "Unseen" particles, those smaller than 40 microns, can be the most difficult to control. The Minuteman CRV was especially designed to be an intricate part of your facility cleaning procedures. It is ideal for use in Class 1 through Class 100,000 cleanrooms, gowning areas and air showers in all pharmaceutical labs, medical device manufacturers, biological labs and computer rooms.
Our absolute filtration system includes a dual layer disposable paper bag, a non-woven cloth filter and a standard U.L.P.A. (Ultra Low Particulate Air) filter, 99.999% efficient at 0.12 microns. This efficiency is much greater than normal H.E.P.A. filters.

Critical Filter Vacuum Systems
Minuteman offers many sizes and configurations for safely trapping and containing nuclear, mercury, chemical, asbestos and other hazardous materials. Minuteman Critical Filter Vacuum Systems are the safest and most reliable way to collect contaminates, because each model contains an exclusive COPOLM™ H.E.P.A. filter with a copoly laminated media - for increased durability. Minuteman's H.E.P.A. filter is 99.97 effective at 0.3 microns. The Critical Filter Vacuums are approved for use in hospitals, "white rooms", electronic assembly areas, testing labs and nuclear plants - or wherever there is a need to remove hazardous materials an prevent its escape into the air.
A manometer adapter can be added to any Minuteman H.E.P.A. operated vacuum with 15 or 30 gallon drum capacities. A manometer measures the negative pressure within the vacuum tank unit and alerts the operator when the filters need servicing

X-1000 Vacuums:
A 3 stage bypass motor and a 4-stage filtering system purifies all vacuum and motor cooling air of carbon dust and copper particles. Low noise level makes these vacuums ideally suited for dry only use in Class 1,000 to 100,000 white rooms, clean rooms, laboratories and pharmaceutical and biological research labs. May be converted to wet pickup by using optional water shut off module and 1:1 adapter. Available in 15, 30 & 55 gallon tank sizes. (see above)

MX-1000 Vacuums:
This wet/dry vacuum with optional dual intake system, features water shut off module and disposable plastic bags. The powerful motor with a multi-stage impeller is whisper quiet but achieves extra high suction and static water lift. The MX-1000 Series are for use in nuclear plants, hot cells, hospital critical cleaning, Class 1,000 to 100,000 white rooms, clean rooms, biological and pharmceutical labs.

Modular 4 Element System for Tailoring to Specific Needs
This specially adapted critical filter vacuum system recovers liquid mercury and cleans soil and liquids contaminated with mercury. All MRS units feature a 115v or 220v AC/DC air cooled motor which is also usable as a high performance standard vacuum when the special filter modules are removed. Each unit comes with the basic tools to handle most clean-up jobs. Mercury has emerged as one of the most toxic contaminants in common use today. People who work with mercury or mercury oxides run serious health risks if strict cleaning procedures are not enforced using qualified equipment. This contamination can occur not only in the factory stations where mercury or mercury oxides are being used, but also in less obvious situations such as technical laboratories, medical and dental labs, control rooms or dental offices. The Minuteman MRS series is designed to control this danger and the MRS Maxi-Guard™ is intended for situations where the mercury threat is potentially serious, the volume of contaminants is relatively small.

Applications
Our Mercury Vacuums feature a unique modular 4 element system that allows user-tailoring to fit almost any need. Typical users for this system are found in dental and research labs, shipboard applications and in instrument manufacturing facilities.
Selection
The Minuteman Mercury Recovery Vacuum System can be tailored to fit almost any particular need. The MRS 1, 2, 3 and 4 units are available with painted or stainless steel 15 gallon tanks. The MRS-6 Maxi-Guard is a small, portable 6 gallon vacuum. Included with each unit is a wand, 24" crevice tool and small nozzle to handle most cleanup jobs.
Options
You may choose from a wide range of tools and attachments in a variety of sizes. Dry only units can be adapted for wet pick up with the addition of a water shut off module. A complete line of filters and collection bags are also available.

The Minuteman 705 Series Heavy Duty Vacuums use compressed air and the venturi principle to create a vacuum of exceptionally high flow and high static lift. These vacuums are capable of lifting or moving an extensive variety of solid or liquid materials. The 705 series air vacs operate without electricity and have no moving parts, thus simplifying maintenance. Compressed air enters the system through an air hose and passes through the adjustable orifice leading to the venturi throat. The compress air jet passing through the throat of the venturi generates an extremely high air flow and a powerful vacuum.
The venturi exhaust is diffused through a multi-labyrinth filter, thus reducing the exhaust noise level.
The 705 air vacs can accommodate numerous options to further expand the capabilities of each machine. Drum adapters are available to enable the use of 15 gallon lids on both 30 and 55 gallon drums. When using a lid adapter, the position of the vacuum intake is in the adapter rather than on the side of the tank as it is on some models. This allows the use of a disposable plastic liner bag which can be easily and quickly removed for disposal of picked up materials.
Optional: H.E.P.A. Filters Available
The absolute filter is another option which may be attached to any 705 Series models (except for the model 704-55) when the exhaust of pure air is required. Also, please not the partial list of applications and materials which can be picked up by the 705 series air vacs (see above).
Variety of sizes:
Minuteman air vacs offer a selection of models and sizes to satisfy specific industrial applications. Ranging from the 4 gallon portable table top model through the extra heavy duty 55 gallon model 704-55 and up to special application arrangements in the 475 gallon wet or dry range for sump cleaning or foundry material pickup, there is an air vac in the Minuteman line to get the clean up or recovery job done in almost any industrial setting.
Most air vacs are available with painted or stainless steel drums, in a selection of filter arrangements, number of venturi and hose sizes, for wet, dry or wet/dry pickup. Also available are 55 gallon drum transfer lids for the bulk filling of 55 gallon drums using a remove vacuum source.
