| Model 6518FR is a freeze resistant valve system with push button activation for use on all Haws single bubbler freeze resistant pedestal mounted fountains. Reliable, fully engineered sytem with pneumatic operated valve installed below frost line to drain water to non-freezing depth allowing fountain to function year-round. Assembly can be lifted to surface and lowered back into casing for easy maintenance without disturbing fountain. Automatic stream regulation with .45 GPM flow control assembly. Five cubic feet of porous gravel fill (see drawing below) is required for water left in supply line between valve and bubbler when valve is in off position to drain through check valve into ground. (If high water table, poor drainage or surface flooding is a consideration, see Haws Model 6519FR patented freeze resistant valve system). 1/2" NPT(M) inlet. Assembly can be lifted to surface and lowered back into casing for easy maintenance without disturbing fountain. Automatic stream regulation with two .40 GPM flow control assemblies. | Model 6519FR Enviro-Guard freeze resistant valve system is specially designed for areas with a high water table, poor drainage or surface flooding. This system can be used on all Haws outdoor single bubbler pedestal mounted fountains. Model 6519FR includes a main on-off valve for coupling an underground water supply conduit via a standpipe to a fountain head to dispense water. It comprises a sump chamber installed below the frost line with a piston mounted for reciprocal movement between advanced and retracted positions. It comes with a quick disconnect for rapid troubleshooting. When the main valve is turned off, the piston retracts by gravity within the sump chamber and residual water remaining within the standpipe drains to the sump chamber at low pressure through a normally open pressure valve mounted on the piston. When the main valve is turned on, the pressure valve is closed by water pressure and the piston is advanced with the sump chamber to expel the water previously collect through a discharge conduit coupled to the main fountain drain. Model 6519FR is made of corrosion reistant materials, and includes an air gap waste fitting assembly. Any residual water is not reused but is expelled to the waste line. Automatic stream regulation with .40 GPM flow control assembly. Included in cabinet is 1/2" NPT screwdriver stop and 1-1/4 NPT trap. Unit is efficient and easy to maintain. Haws manufatures drinking fountains, electric water coolers and electric drinking fountains to be lead free by all known definitions including ANSI/NSF Standard 61, Section 9, California Proposition 65 and the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act.
