Haws HRC Remote Chillers
Model HRC remote chiller provides .5 gallon per hour of cold water. Chiller is designed to supply glassfiller in residential or office use where a minimal demand of cold water is required. The unit is manufactured with 1.5 quart stainless steel tank and water lines. A static condenser guarantees quiet operation. Model HRC includes a heavy gauge galvanized steel cabinet. The refrigeration system is balanced to provide low energy usage and a longer life assured by utilizing a high displacement compressor, a counterflow evaporator/chiller, efficient capillary sizing, a large capacity dryer-strainer and a fan cooled condenser with maximum heat exchange. A wire service cord and polarized plug are furnished. 115 V, 60 Hz. Environmentally friendly R134a refrigerant is controlled by a calibrated capillary tube. Air cooled remote chillers require air circulation for proper operation. Any chiller mounted under a counter must also be provided with adequate ventilation. When chiller is installed in wall, be certain that it can always be removed through opening without damaging either chiller or wall. Allow minimum 1" clearance and minimum 4" clearance on back side. Capacity is based on ARI standard rating condition of 50ºF drinking water, 80ºF inlet water and 90ºF room temperature. Multiple outlets: HRC is capable of supplying a maximum of 1 station (bubbler, glassfiller). Supply line to station should be adequately insulated and no farther than 7 feet from chiller.

Components:

Evaporator Chiller: Model HPD035920-SP, evaporator/chiller combination coil and tank type provides for a double wall construction. The combination tank/coil type evaporator is designed to store chilled water to meet peak demands for chilled water.
Thermostat: Model HP0005951371, positive sensing thermostat for controlling temperature of evaporator/chiller storage water. It is factory set at 50ºF. Ajustable +/- 5ºF.

Options & Accessories (Additional Cost)

Remote Chiller: Model HRC21, 2.5 GPH remote chiller.
Mounting: Model H7149MS, mounting shelf for remote chillers.
Chiller: Model HCR8, chiller provides for instantaneous cooling to meet a continuous demand for chilled water.

Haws HCR8 Remote Chillers
Model HCR8 remote chiller provides 8 gallons per hour of cold water. This remote can provide chilled water to a wide variety of fountains with modern styling. Chiller can be concealed under a counter, between or within walls (check local codes), or high on a wall or column. Ideally suited for factories, cafeterias, restaurants, schools and offices. Other uses could be for precooling for beverage dispensers and fountains, machine coolant cooling, photo and X-ray processing, laboratory experimental work, or a capacity booster for ice cube makers. Model HCR8 includes a heavy gauge galvanized steel cabinet.
