NuFab suits are unique, disposable garments designed specifically for the nuclear industry. DuPont RelyOn
RelyOn is a remarkable new family of disinfectant and antiseptic products effective against a wide range of pathogens, including Hepatitis A, Band C, HIV-1, E. coli and Staphylococcus.* RelyOn disinfectant powders and convenient tablets offer effective alternatives to bleach for clean up and disinfection of hard non-porous surfaces after exposure to bloodborne pathogens or bodily fluids. The 1 % in-use solution is non-irritating to eyes and skin on incidental contact, as well as less corrosive to environmental surfaces. These products are more cost effective with a broader spectrum of efficacy claims than ready-to-use quats. RelyOn antiseptic and disinfectants come in ready-to-use spray bottles, canister wipes and individual wipes, and offer an easy and effective way to reduce the spread of germs that can cause disease and infection. DUPONT RELYON ANTISEPTIC HAND WASH PRODUCTS

• Effective against Hepatitis A, Band C based on in-vitro efficacy testing
• Available as personal-sized spray bottles, canisters of wipes and individual wipes
• Convenient way to reduce germs that can cause disease and infection
• No sticky residue, allows for easy gloving

These ready-to-use products offer an easy and effective way to disinfect hands and reduce the spread of germs that can cause disease and infection. Efficacy data has shown these products to be efficacious against a wide range of pathogens including Hepatitis A, Band C, HIV-l, E.coli, Staphylococcus and more. Antiseptic hand wash products are based on a proprietary (patented) formulation that contains a skin-softening ingredient to help protect hands from drying. Wipes and spray do not contain phenols, bleach, chlorhexidine, formaldehyde, quaternary ammonium salts (quats) or glutaraldehyde. Select from a 2-oz. personal-size spray bottle or individual hand wipes that you can carry in your pocket or a 160-count canister of hand wipes. Not yet available in Canada.

Disinfectant Spray and Wipes
DuPont RelyOn disinfectant spray and wipes are isopropanol­based, ready-to-use products that are compatible with most surfaces and leave no residuals. Disinfectant sprays and wipes, when used as directed, are tuberculocidal, bacteriocidal, virucidal and fungicidal. The disinfectant solution is efficacious against a range of human pathogens including Hepatitis A, B, C, MRSA VRE, influenza, RSV and TB. These products are available in a 16-oz. spray bottle with 1 galion refills or in convenient canisters containing 65 wipes and have a shelf life of four years.

Multi-Purpose Disinfectant Cleaner
DuPont RelyOn Multi-Purpose Disinfectant Cleaner is a peroxygen-based powder or tablet available in a variety of package sizes that may be used as an absorbent or dissolved in water to provide a disinfectant solution. This cost-effective bleach alternative, when prepared as a 1 % working solution, is efficacious against a range of human pathogens including Hepatitis A, Band C. (See our website for complete listing along with efficacy data.) In cases of incidental exposure, in-use solution is non-irritating to intact skin or eyes. These products are available in a 5 kg bucket, a 500 g shaker, a 50 gm sachet and a 10 or 50 count 5 g tablet. The tablets have an established shelf life of greater than two years and the powder has a shelf life of three years.

NFPA 2112, a standard developed by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), covering flame-resistant garments that protect industrial personnel against flash fires.
NFPA 70E, a comprehensive standard developed by the NFPA, which outlines the need for comprehensive electrical safety programs, including the wearing of flame-resistant clothing to protect workers from electric arcs.
NOMEX® is inherently flame resistant (its resistance to flame is based on the fiber's molecular structure), so it won't melt and drip or support combustion in the air. And, this flame resistance cannot be washed out or worn away. This extremely durable protective apparel can last 150 washings­approximately 3 to 5 years based on environment and tasks-which translates to excellent cost-per-wear and the best value among all FR garments in the marketplace. NOMEX® is also lighter, more flexible and breathable than most other flame-resistant apparel fabrics, so wearers are more comfortable on the job, and safer, too, since mobility is not compromised.

NOMEX and KEVLAR outershells
NOMEX outershells can more than handle the intense heat and flame of today's fires and are among the most durable products on the market. When blended with KEVLAR brand fiber, these durable outershells can be made lighter, which provides enhanced comfort, increased breathability and mobility, lowers bulk and total weight, resulting in less heat stress.
NOMEX moisture barrier substrates
Breathable moisture barriers using NOMEX substrates are used in lightweight, flexible garments designed for enhanced comfort and lower heat stress,
NOMEX thermal liners, because they are less bulky, offer greater comfort and decrease the threat of heat stress, a leading cause of fatal injury for on-duty firefighters, Since they are also extremely durable, they hold up well after multiple launderings.

SEAM CONSTRUCTION
Even the best protective fabrics in the world are useless without strong, tight seams. One loose thread or gap, and the barrier between you and your environment unravels-leaving you vulnerable.
Serged or Sewn - A seam produced when three threads are interlocked around the raw edges of two pieces of material for a strong, stress-resistant seam.
Bound - Tightly sewn with a reinforced outer binding to increase seam strength and barrier. For potential misting exposure of non-hazardous liquids or particle penetration through the seam.
Welded or NSR - A sealed seam produced when materials are lapped and thermally welded. There are no fillers, thread or needle holes.
Taped Thermobond Seam - Both sewn and taped to provide strong chemical resistance against heavy liquid splashes and tough seam stress. A sewn seam is covered with a strip of compatible material by heat-sealing.
Double Taped Thermobond Max Seam -Sewn, then taped on the inside and the outside of the seam for a very strong chemical and stress-resistant seam.
Tunneled Elastic - Fabric sewn tightly together to provide a secure closure.

GARMENT STYLE
Different jobs require different styles or configurations of protective garments. That's why DuPont offers a wide variety of garment styles-from hoods and vests to aprons, coveralls and fully encapsulated suits. Fully encapsulated suits are available in front or rear entry with a flat back for airline accommodations or an expanded back for SCBA accommodations.

GARMENT CONSTRUCTION
Our safety garments have a number of components and options.
In addition to our standard hood designs, many of our garments offer a respirator fit hood. These hoods are designed with a longer zipper, extending up over the chin for complete coverage of the neck area. Standard hoods only extend to the neck.
Different situations call for different styles of faceshields. In addition to a standard faceshield, DuPont has several styles that offer a greater field of vision, enabling the wearer to see more of what they are dealing with, reducing missteps, allowing more natural movement and better eye contact and communication.
The EX (extra-wide) faceshield options on Tychem® TK and Tychem® BR Level A garments feature a wrap-around design that provides ample room for a mask-mounted regulator (MMR). This faceshield is wider and longer, providing expanded peripheral and vertical viewing. And, the three layers of the EX faceshield provide a better seal and allow more time to get to a safe zone.

VALVES
Many DuPont fully encapsulated suits feature extra-low-pressure exhaust valves with covers that provide extra protection against inward leakage and over-inflation. Valve covers allow for safe and easy access to the valve during pressure testing.
A testing adapter connects directly to the exhaust valve, allowing suit pressure testing to be performed without entire valve removal. This means testing can be conducted quickly and safely.
EX FACESHIELD
The ultimate option for peripheral vision. Our unique wrap-around design allows a panoramic view with no visual obstructions. Only from DuPont. Wide enough to allow for mask-mounted regulator (MMR) respirators.
RESPIRATORS
Fully encapsulated suits are available in front or rear entry, with a flat back for airline accommodations or expanded back for SCBA accommodations. For information about respirators, contact your local distributor.
LOOSE-FITTING SLEEVES
A loose fit allows the wearer to pull their arm into the garment and access the faceshield and SCBA .
ATTACHED GLOVES
Several types of systems are available from DuPont, including: a standard ring and clamp system that provides a liquid-tight seal between the garment sleeve/cuff and glove; a field replaceable system; and a dual glove system .
AIRTIGHT CLOSURE
Vapor- and liquid-splash protective zipper closure is covered by two storm flaps and fastens securely with a hook-and-Ioop closure.
STORM FLAP
The storm flap covers the zipper/closure area for added protection, and fastens securely with a hook-and-Ioop closure.
ATTACHED SOCKS AND OUTER BOOT TOP COVER
Attached socks are to be worn inside the user's own chemical-protective boots. The outer boot top cover prevents liquid pooling inside the boot.
