Shock Absorbing Lanyards
Protecta manufactures a variety of shock absorbing lanyards, designed to reduce the impact forces placed on a body in the event of a fall. Double leg shock absorbing lanyards offer the same protection and mobility afforded by a single leg lanyard, but by their design offer an added measure of security, by permitting the user to be tied off 100% of the time during traverse. Protecta self retracting lifelines are available with a wide variety of lengths, cable types, and housings, ensuring that your needs are met regardless of your work environment. Protecta lifelines utilize stainless steel or anti-corrosion coated parts, housings made from aluminum, impact resistant thermoplastic, or painted steel, and lightweight materials. Each model includes a carabiner for attachment to your anchorage point.
These products meet OSHA and ANSI standards; CE and CSA approved models are also available. In addition, all models come with a two year warranty with no annual recertification required.
