Every DBI/SALA lanyard combines super strength and ease of use without sacrificing safety. All lanyard hardware is proof tested to industry standards, and our patented, user friendly self locking snap hooks are standard on all DBI/SALA lanyards. They allow you to open and close the hook even with gloves on without getting your thumb or fingers in the way, they're industry preferred. All lanyards meet industry standards including OSHA and ANSI Z359.1. CSA and CE approved models also available.

Our ShockWave2 shock absorbing lanyards are stretchable for complete freedom of movement. They expand to 6 ft. and contract to 4-1/2 ft. in reaction to your movements, reducing trip hazards, dragging and snagging. The ShockWave2 incorporates a unique inner core that immediately begins to extend and absorb energy during a fall, limiting arresting forces to no more than 900 lbs. Expands to 6 ft. and contracts to 4-1/2 ft. **EZ Stop III Shock Absorbing Lanyards**
Our EZ Stop III shock absorbing lanyards are lightweight and compact; their simple design integrates the shock absorber for reduced weight and bulk. The basic design of the EZ Stop has proven to not only be safe and effective, but very popular within the utility market. There is certain to be a model that will meet your fall arrest requirements from this product line. All EZ Stop III lanyards utilize a stretching action (instead of a tearing action) when subjected to fall arrest forces, limiting arresting forces to no more than 900 lbs.

**EZ Stop Lanyards**
The EZ Stop Retrax™ shock absorbing retractable lanyard is another DBI/SALA innovation - for safety's sake. The EZ Stop Retrax is the first shock absorbing lanyard that retracts automatically to fit the working area. It is a unique alternative to elasticized lanyards. Using a specialized retraction technology, it retracts and expands smoothly and consistently from 2-1/2 ft. to 6 ft. The Retrax retractable shock absorbing lanyard stays close to the body reducing trip fall hazards, snagging on equipment and dragging. Unique spring technology retracts and expands form 2-1/2 ft. to 6 ft. Compact, lightweight device weighs only 2 lbs. Smooth retraction without irritating lockups Adjustable retraction length allows user to limit retraction at any interval between 2-1/2 ft. to 6 ft.

Traditional hook designs are not intended for tying back, however, many workers mistakenly use their standard hooks to tie-back. Should the worker fall with a standard hook tied back, the forces may inadvertently end up on the gate, face or side which are not intended for load-bearing, causing it to fail open and injure the worker. Our rebar assemblies are designed for versatility and are available in many variations with unique hooks to provide safe and compatible connection to many types of structures. They should only be used in applications that limit free fall to two feet or less.
