Rubber Wheel Chocks

Checker's Roadblocks Rubber Wheel Chocks are strong, safe and resistant to damage from UV, moisture, salt and oils. Their traction design grips tire and road and will not cause tire or pavement damage. The chock design allows either side to be positioned against the tire.

OSHA Specifies 1910.178 (k) Trucks and railroad cars. (1) the brakes of highway trucks shall be set and wheel chocks placed under the rear wheels to prevent the trucks from rolling while they are boarded with powered industrial trucks.

Checker's 1900 series roadblocks wheel chocks are specifically designed for the mining and construction industries. They are strong, safe and lightweight, yet hold the largest haul trucks. Roadblocks off road urethane wheel chocks are made from tough, damage resistant polyurethane. They will not cause tire damage and are virtually unaffected by oils, fuels or solvents. For added safety and convenience, "How to Use" guidelines are molded into the back of each chock.

2512 2514

Roadblocks all terrain urethane wheel chocks are specifically designed for use on fire equipment. They comply with NFPA 1901 - 1904 and meet SAE-J348 standard for up to 32 inch and up to 44 inch wheel diameters. These tough, damage resistant polyurethane chocks are resistant to oils, fuels and solvents, and feature high strength aluminum base plates with posi-grip traction cleats or anti-slip rubber traction pads. For added safety and convenience, Checkers incorporates a molded carrying handle and safety colors for easy identification
NPFA STANDARDS REQUIRE WHEEL CHOCKS TO BE MOUNTED ON FIRE APPARATUS BEFORE BEING PLACED INTO SERVICE. Two chocks must be mounted and readily accessible per NFPA 1901 (Section 7-2), 1902 (Section 7-2), AND 1903 (Section 6-1). Four chocks are required per NFPA 1904 (Section 6-2)m 1991 edition.
