Dielectric footwear is tested to meet or exceed the ANSI STD Z41-1991 Section 4 for Electrical Hazard Footwear. Dielectric footwear will withstand 14,000 volts of AC current for 1 minute, showing no leakage in excess of 5.0 milliamperes.
