**Hand Held Pulse Oximeter**

Performing fast and accurate pulse oximetry is now easier than ever. Allied's lightweight, high performance pulse oximeter goes anywhere to provide reliable Sp02 and pulse rate measurements. Spot check readings are accurate for up to 99 patients, neonate to adult. The pulse oximeter determines the Sp02 and pulse rate by passing two wavelengths of light, one red, one infrared, through body tissue to a photodetector. The pulse oximeter processes these signals to identify the pulse rate and calculate oxygen saturation. The Allied Pulse Oximeter is loaded with high quality features that ensure confidence in the reliability of its fast Sp02 and pulse rate measurements. Portable, durable and damage resistant, the Allied Pulse Oximeter can deliver hard-copy results when attached to either the optional printer or a pc. There are two modes available for printing data. In spot-check mode, one Sp02 and pulse rate reading is stored every 30 seconds for future printing. In data log mode, the pulse oximeter is connected to the printer and the patient data is printed every five seconds. The unit has simple on/off buttons with an auto shut-off feature to save on batteries. A pulse strength bar graph shows the patient's pulse strength. Test information is delivered in bright, easy-to-read LED displays. The Allied Pulse Oximeter System includes the Pulse Oximeter, reusable finger probe, carrying case, operations/service manual, and 3 C-cell alkaline batteries. With the carrying case (included with the System) the Allied Pulse Oximeter is protected while in use. The optional Printer is compact, lightweight. and truly portable with built-in Ni-Cad batteries.
