Chemical Resistance Chart. This chart is rather large, and you will need to scroll sideways as well as up and down to see the entire chart.
See below for explanation of rating system. Under the column "Degradation Rating", the three colors shown (green, yellow and red) are
interpreted as follows:
1) Green means that the chemical listed has little or no effect on the glove material. The degradation rating is Excellent or Good; the
permeation breakthrough is 30 minutes or longer; the permeation rate is Excellent, Very Good or Good. Where the necessary data is
available, all three of these conditions must be fulfilled to assign a green rating. If data required to test for all three conditions is not available
as for example in testing acids and bases, professional judgement was used to determine the rating.
2) Red means that the degradation rating is Poor or Not Recommended, regardless of the permeation rating.
3) Yellow is used to rate glove material if the solvent / material combination does not meet the standards for green rating, but does not have
a degradation rating of Poor or Not Recommended for a red rating.
RECOMMENDED RECOMMENDED WITH RESERVATION NOT RECOMMENDED
Chemicals listed in blue are experimental carcinogens. Chemicals listed with an asterisk are suspected carcinogens.
